4 Ways to Build Strength and Increase Testosterone  (3 replies)

Western males have lower testosterone on average than their Eastern counterparts which can largely be attributed to diet and lifestyle choice. In this article we will look at a 5different ways you can both increase your T and your strength at the same time.

1. Do Not Consume PUFA or Poly Unsaturated Fatty Acids.

These come primarily from vegetable oils such as corn, canola, peanut, grapeseed oil. In 1985 these oils were directly linked to decreased testosterone in a scientific case study involving 12 men.

Instead you should eat healthy fats such as olive oil, grass fed butter or coconut oil. Olive oil in particular has special T boosting capabilities and a strong combination of both saturated fat and unsaturated fat.

2. Stay Away from Processed Sugar and Carbohydrates

Drink a single glass of soda can result in an incredible 25% decrease in your T levels for over 2 hours! For some men this is enough to lower it so much they would qualify for prescription hormone therapy.

Processed carbohydrates do not fare much better as the body treats it almost identically to processed sugars. To your body it’s just glucose.

Instead stick with natural forms of sugar such as honey and try to limit the amount you consume. Also eat whole forms of carbohydrates like brown rice, or one of my personal favorites, chick peas which is extremely high in protein and fiber while having a unique advantage of being gluten free.

 3. Supplement with Aswagandha Root

Studies show Aswagandha can improve sleep, decrease stress, increase testosterone and enhance strength gains.

In fact, an 18% increase in T levels and 43 pound increase on the bench press have been noted in one scientific case study. That is flat out incredible.

 4. Stay Away from Alcohol

Ok, nobody is going to stay away from alcohol, but do your best to limit your intake. Alcohol interrupts several processes affecting your testosterone but it has a devastating effect on NAD+ in particular.

NAD+ is a coenzyme imperative to producing T. However, your body also requires NAD+ to process alcohol. The more alcohol in your system, the less NAD+ is available to produce testosterone.

All these supplements mostly are too much price for the value provided. Though,it works , higher testosterone levels does not always mean the results you expect. I have tried this many time before.
