Cadet Mentoring Program (CaMP)
The Cadet Mentoring Program (CaMP) links current students with Cal Maritime alumni for educational and career advice, professional workplace mentorship, and potential job opportunities. The Alumni Association recognizes that a cadet’s strongest advocates in various industries are the Academy’s graduates. CaMP serves to give cadets an advantage in the first steps of their careers and additional tools to those returning to industry.
The CaMP Forum is a message board that allows current students to search and access popular discussion topics. All members may comment on or initiate a discussion.
The CaMP Counselors page provides contact information for Cal Maritime alumni who will provide feedback and discuss industry expectations, corporate cultures, job opportunities, and more.
Benefit to Cadets (Mentees)
Cadets will benefit from the guidance and advice offered by professionals who understand, through firsthand experience, career issues and concerns they may currently face.
